Aimo was born to Mr. Kayiira Robert and Mrs. Betty Nalumansi. He grew up in a family of five children: Abey, Aimo, Ruth, Andrew, and Rebecca. His upbringing in a musical environment helped shape his passion for music and ministry.
After a period of family challenges, when his parents separated, Aimo and his siblings went to live with their mother in the village. During this time, he experienced personal growth and strengthened his faith.
Together with his brother Abey, Aimo later founded the gospel a cappella group Yimba Music, which focuses on music ministry and spreading the gospel through song.
Alongside music, Aimo pursued professional training in film and video production. He studied videography and cinematography at Katnate Technology, where he obtained a certificate in cinematography. Today, he works as a film director, cinematographer, and writer, using film as a tool to communicate powerful stories and Christian messages.
From 2020 to 2022, he worked with Amani Records, gaining experience in media production and creative ministry.
In 2023, Aimo met Joseph Luyima of Jehovah Shalom, and they began collaborating closely in ministry. Later, Shivan joined them as they continued their work together.
Towards the end of 2024, Aimo developed the vision for Chroma Family, a ministry dedicated to spreading the gospel through music, film, and outreach. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Chroma Family and plays a key role in its leadership and creative direction.
